10th UK Dementia Congress - Call for Presentations

Celebrating their 10th year, the next UK Dementia Congress will be held on 3-5 November 2015 at The International Centre, Telford, a spacious, purpose-built venue with ideal facilities to make this congress the biggest and best yet. As always there will be an exciting mix of plenary sessions, parallel sessions, workshops, symposia, posters, early bird sessions, special events and installations.

The Call for Presentations is now on their website at: www.careinfo.org/ukdc-2015

Deadline for proposals: 20 April 2015

UK Dementia Congress invite proposals for presentations and posters on any aspect of support, care and treatment for people with dementia, their families and care staff, in any service setting. Preference will be given to accounts of projects or services that have been critically evaluated, drawing out conclusions and lessons learned on quality and cost-effectiveness. All presentations should demonstrate how practice is linked to knowledge gained from research, experience, guidelines or expert consensus.

As in previous years, a strong thread running through the Congress will be the experience of people with dementia, and involvement of them and their families in services at every level. Proposals should show that this important aspect has been addressed in their project or service.

See www.careinfo.org/ukdc-2015 for details of their developing programme as sessions and speakers are confirmed.
